For this Project we were tasked with creating either a 30 second commerical or PSA for our Digital Video/ Editing Digital Video Classes. For my project I decided to create a commercial for a local sushi restaurant in Orlando, FL called Bikkuri Sushi Lounge.
What brought me to want to create a commercial for this local business was due to the fact that I am not only good friends with the owner, but he also has no advertising currently for his restaurant. He had asked me to design a new logo for them, but one of my classmates Stephanie Depass ended up coming up with the final logo that he chose which is below.
From there I began planning out my commercial. I originally wanted to make the commercial completely based off of humor, which then my instructor suggested going in more of a traditional route. I wanted to try and figure out a way to intergrate humor and tradition into one commercial.
Then came filming day! Below are a few photos of behind the scenes of the video shoot.
From there we moved into our editing digital video where we began working on post production. Below is my client which will walk you through the process that I have gone through to get to my final commerical.
Below is a rough cut version of what I have so far for this commercial. I still have to do color corrections to it and any other edits I may find that need to be done.
